I’ve purchased inexpensive items at Target at 50% off within six weeks of that item hitting the sales floor.
Maternity specialty stores offer a variety of cute inexpensive maternity clothes options. Motherhood is a national chain that has never ending sales and BOGO events. Sign up for their e-newsletter and you will get more enticing offers in your mailbox then you will care to read.
Used maternity clothes are a great option for anyone on a budget. You can find a list of consignment maternity shops in your area on Google. These shops can provide great value. You can rest assured that most of the items on sale at maternity clothing consignment shops were only very gently used. On top of that, many maternity clothing consignment shops offer special event dress rentals. Why would you spend a ton of time and money looking for a special event outfit that won’t make you feel like a beached whale? You will literally only wear it once. Instead, rent a freshly dry cleaned dress for your best friend’s wedding.
Consider purchasing maternity clothes staples that will last you through your entire pregnancy. You will be constantly growing and so will your credit card bill if you purchase outfits that will fit for any month, and then become useless.
